1. A souvenir programme of the Royal Visit to South Africa in 1947 in pictorial card wraps. Stapled. The front cover features the royal crown over Table Mountain, the British and South African flags symbolising union, and the Union Buildings in Pretoria. 

The Royal Tour lasted three months and the family (King George VI and Queen Elizabeth with their daughters princesses Elizabeth and Margaret) toured the whole of South Africa. The programme includes a day by day itinerary of the places visited. There is a short description on each page of every town of note visited by the Royal Family. The booklet also contains contemporary adverts in profusion.
