1. Boer War Memorabilia - The Collectors' Guide / Pieter Oosthuizen

239p. 430 illustrations, 165 in colour. With the collaboration of Alan Peek. Covers the areas of collecting Boer War material, such as ceramics, glassware, model soldiers, stamps, coins, tin and pewter, ephemera etc.1987 first edition in good condition. 

2. Letters from a Boer Parsonage - Margaret Marquard

‘When the Boer War began on 12 October 1899 the Rev. J.J.T. Marquard,  Moderator of the Dutch Reformed church of the Orange Free State and his family were living in the parsonage at Winburg, a small town some sixty miles west of Bloemfontein. Four days after war broke out, Marquard’s wife Margaret began to record day-to-day happenings at Winburg in the form of letters to her mother at Stellenbosch and her husband on commando.’

140 pages, frontispiece portrait of Margaret Marquard. A clean copy tigthly bound and in good condition.
