First UK Edition: 224 pages, original purple cloth titled gilt on the spine and publisher's imprint on the upper cover, the leaves are toned around the margins, page edges browned and foxed, light blue endpapers with the signature of a previous owner on the front free endpaper, the unclipped (£2.50) dust jacket is very lightly worn along the edges with a 1cm split at the bottom of the first fold and is now preserved in a Brodart protector, the jacket design is by Ray Feibush, a very good copy.
