Minor bumping to the extremities and spine, some age tanning to the boards and spine. Otherwise the binding is whole and secure, hinges and joints are whole and strong. Ex-owner's inscriptions to the top right corners of the front free endpaper and title page. Text block/pages in very good condition, very clear and without markings, but with slight yellowing and occasional light foxing mostly to the white margins (except 4-5 pages with widespread light foxing), title page age tanned, some pages with dark imprint from pasted-in illustrations on adjacent pages. A sound copy of this scarce title.
