Horatio Walpole, 4th Earl of Orford (24 September 1717 – 2 March 1797), better known as Horace Walpole, was an English Whig politician, writer, historian and antiquarian.
He is the son of the first British prime minister , Sir Robert Walpole.
He built his home Strawberry Hill in London and birthed his Strawberry Hill Press there in 1757, where many of his own works and other first editions were printed.
