This French translation from 1869 of a famous travel and exploration book contains 20 woodcuts and folding map which shows a route of travel of David Livingstone since 1840 until 1864.
Provenance: Chinese stamps to the title page, comes from the library of Pierre Cheure (1952-2015), sculptor, writer and translator.

Pages/text block with some yellowing and occasional light foxing. Ex libris stamps to the title page.
