ILLUSTRATED LIBRARY OF TRAVEL & EXPLORATION & ADVENTURE
Travels in South Africa.
The book predominantly recounts the travels and adventures of David Livingstone, with stories of other adventurers appearing (e.g. Ladislaus Magyar.) The mid-19th century was a time for adventurers and explorers and this book attempts to tell their stories. It must have been gripping tale in its day (150 years ago).
