150pp + 24 plates and 39 figures.

This copy includes three leaves of correspondence between the author Gerald A. Smith and South African archaeologist A. R. Willcox.
The first letter is typed on a San Bernardino Museum card (featuring a colour image of the museum). Smith informs Willcox that he will be sending him a copy of their latest publication and thanks him for his visit and lecture. This is signed by Smith in pen.
In the third letter (typed) Willcox mentions the receipt of this copy and thanks the author for it. Willcox also asks if there would be enough interest to do a lecturing tour "West of the Rockies" and mentions his amusement at seeing Nancy (presumably the author's wife) included in the frontispiece (plate 1.) with the author.
