CONTENTS:

53pp introduction and life sketch of Rhodes by J. P. R. Wallis, followed by a 2pp chronology of important events during his lifetime, starting from the births of Leander Starr Jameson, Alfred Beit, and Cecil John Rhodes (all in 1853) to the death of Jameson 1917.

This is followed by a descriptive catalogue of the Rhodes Exhibition which was held in 1953. It is divided into fifteen sections or periods in Rhodes's life where over 290 items are catalogued.

The final part of this book, starting from page 117 to page 192, is an extensive and valuable bibliography, compiled by E. E. Burke, on all publications relating to Rhodes.

Some foxing to the inner panels of the wraps but otherwise clean. Binding tight.
