Volume 3 contains the corrected plate for insertion opposite page 528. Major-General A. Fitzroy Hart objected to the portrait of him which was printed and the publishers were obliged to issue a new more youthful and military-looking portrait of him. It was sent to subscribers in a folder with instructions on how to remove the offending plate and to replace it with the new one.
