A very scarce book produced by the Morija Printing Works in Basutoland and an early example of fine printing from Southern Africa. No. 196 of 200 copies only, comprising the entire edition. The Colophon states the following:

This booklet comprising the thirty languages printed so far at Morija has been set up by the African and European staff of the Morija Printing Works of the Paris Evangelical Missionary Society, Basutoland, as a token of gratitude to their manager, Mr. Jaques Zurcher. who for the last thirty years has devoted himself to the religious and educational welfare of the Bantu Tribes, through the medium of the printed word. They are greatly indebted to the various publishers who granted permission to print extracts from their publications. This booklet, No. 196 of a Limited Edition of two hundred copies is set in monotype faces. The printing was finished on the 20th. December 1950 on a Miehle vertical press. The paper from Alex. Pirie Limited is a woodfree cream laid. The Neoset black ink is from Coates Ltd. The colours are Coates' inks mixed to the required shade. The binding and finishing is an achievement from the Bindery department.

The thirty example leaves are interspersed with thirty Japon type tissue leaves on which are printed descriptions of the text.

In the original wraps with printed integral dustwrapper. Slight wear to the covers but otherwise near fine.
