Paul Marais Grobbelaar is a South African historian and this book is based on his doctoral thesis entitled: DIE VROEË GESLAGTE GROBBELAARS VAN CYFERFONTEIN, DISTRIK BETHULIE, IN DIE SUIDOOS-VRYSTAAT, 1861-1939. It was submitted to the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein in 2008.
