A chemist in Sea Point & the southern suburbs of Cape Town, Thomas Ravenscroft (1851-1948) was an accomplished and prolific photographer whose large collection of glass negatives and images now resides in the National Archives in Cape Town. SA Bibliography, volume 3, page 781 (6 copies).
