I am a member of the P.B.F.A. and sell mainly at our book fairs in the U.K. I specialise in Victorian publishers' bindings in paper and cloth. I always display a shelf of 'Ancient Dust Jackets', all at least 100 years old and some going back to the 1880s. As time goes on I am looking forward to topping this up with garish 1920s jackets. I also offer a selection of unique material such as manuscripts, photograph albums, ephemera and art. In fact I rarely offer ordinary books; unusual items are far more popular with experienced collectors and great fun to research too.
