A nice copy of the first edition of this late nineteen fifties Christie title with a card signed by Christie and an accompanying secretarial letter loosely laid in. The book is fine, unmarked and without foxing in the original red cloth and has a small South African bookseller's label on the front pastedown. The dustwrapper is very good plus - complete and unclipped with very light edge wear - see images. The front flap in unpriced suggesting that this is a Colonial edition. Laid in loosely is a 11 x 9cm. plain white card nicely signed Agatha Christie, accompanied by a short typed signed secretarial letter dated 18 January 1961, on a Winterbrook House (Christie's home) stating "With Mrs Christie's Compliments and Best Wishes". Both these items are in fine condition.
