FAMOUS TRIALS

The author was the Lord Chancellor of England from 1919 to 1922.

In the book he tells of famous trials through England & other countries.  A number of them are of trials that effected the very course of History (Mary Queen of Scots, Charles I, Joan of Arc) to some of the more sensational crimes of the times.

Makes for fascinating reading.
