First Edition: 116 pages, 66 colour illustrations, fold out panorama of Cape Town, blue cloth with gilt vignette on upper cover and titled gilt on the spine, a very good copy in the dust jacket dust jacket.
Editor's Note: Nicolas Barker was head of Conservation at the British Library and is editor of the Book Collector. He has drawn on his extensive knowledge of the family history to provide an account of Lady Anne's sojourn, and also the subject of her drawings. The whole provides a vivid and enthralling picture of life at the Cape two centuries ago.
This edition is limited to 1000 copies.
