Mimi Coertse (1932- ) is a South African soprano who became internationally famous after she performed in all the major opera houses of Europe. In 2020 she was inaugurated as a living legend in the South African Legends Museum. Wouter de Wet's book, published in 1976, has the distinction of being the first biography on Coertse.
