From 1846 to 1852 the author hunted in Tibet and the Himalayas. His quarry consisted of ibex, markhor, and Tibetan argali. Markham is thought to be the first, or one of the first to write on hunting in the Himalayas, making this beautiful early work even more important for the sheep hunter's library. Czech/Asia.
