This is a hard-to-find edition from 1938 of the New Testament, written in Chiswina (The Language of Mashonaland).
Original maroon cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine; Text in Chiswina; Collation complete - False title, Title page, 656 pages; Binding is tight and firm, with shelf wear and light soiling on the boards and some faint staining on the front board. Text block/pages clean and very bright, with minor yellowing and light bumping to the top corners of the pages. Otherwise there is no inscriptions, markings or foxing throughout. A sound copy of this extremely rare book.
