The Blanche Gold Mining Company was the 360th company to be registered in the Transvaal Republic. It was registered in 1889 with a capital value of £75,000.

'This is to certify that A. Graham of Johannesburg is the Proprietor of twenty fully paid up Shares of One Pound Sterling each, numbered from 66531 to 66550 inclusive. Dated at Johannesburg, this 13 day of May 1889.'

Signed by the Secretary and Directors.

The certificate was printed by Diggers' News Steam Printing Works, Johannesburg in 1889. It was one of the first printing works established in Johannesburg, which makes this certificate one of the earliest examples of Johannesburg printing.
