Four volumes bound in two, most likely published in the 1890s. Quarter bound in black with green cloth boards and marbled end papers. Panelled spine, gilt ornamentation and title, volume number and author in gilt lettering. Good condition only. The boards and binding show heavy signs of wear, with bumped and damaged corners and wear to the spines. The front board on the first book (Vol I - II) is becoming partially detached, with exposed binding. The front board on the second book (Vol III - IV) was detached but subsequently repaired, with slight damage to end papers. Please note that this is a very heavy set and is likely to require additional shipping costs.
