Parts 1-22 contain transcripts of the hearings held at Nuremberg in 1945 and 1946, part 23 is an index divided into names and subjects. Part 1 includes a folding chart of the organisation of the NSDAP, part 3 contains a folding chart of the organisation of the SS.
The three additional volumes contain speeches by the chief prosecutors: Opening Speeches of the Chief Prosecutors, Speeches of the Prosecutors against the Indicted Organisations and Speeches of the Chief Prosecutors against the Individual Defendants.
A scarce extended set of this important collection of transcripts of the history-making Nuremberg trials. Parts 1-23 complete, and with three of the original six supplemental volumes.
Condition: Overall very good. The texts are clean and clear, and the rebinding was professionally done. Previous binder’s labels to front pastedowns. Edges appear to have been trimmed. Some repairs with tape to closed tears on fold-out chart in part 1. Slight creasing to last few pages and original rear covers of parts 2, 9, 18, and 22. Small repair to original cover of part 19, light stains to original front cover of part 20. A well-preserved and neatly-presented set. Solidly bound.
