Contains the original Notitia, a single leaf loosely inserted into the first part, being the author's Notice, detailing the scope of the work.

All five parts are complete and in good condition with an old, light semi-circular damp mark on the fore edge. Comes with the original, contemporary half-vellum file holder. Original invoice, dated 1984, included for the sale of this item by Antiquariaat Junk to Mr. Robin Fryde, who was the owner of Thorolds, the renowned Johannesburg Africana bookshop.

A complete set of all five parts is very scarce, even more so if it contains the Notitia.
