In this uncommon, privately printed book, Mary Henkelmann pays homage to her husband and their life together hunting worldwide. Heinrich Henkelmann owned a museum of curiosities in northern Wisconsin, its contents including big game trophies from his numerous hunting trips. In 1969, he and his wife visited East Africa and collected Cape buffalo, impala, oryx, eland, and other game. He also hunted polar bear in the Arctic, jaguar in Central America and Mexico, moose in Canada, and a host of other game.
This book is 104 pages and consists mainly of captioned photos of the couple and their trophies as well as Heinrich's taxidermy. The colorful card covers have a crease to the lower front corner but are otherwise in nice shape
