Folio (13 7/8 x 10 3/4in; 352 x 273mm). 75 leaves, mounted with over 1900 examples of crests, monograms, flags and pennants, including circa 40 flags on silk, and 3 pages with mounted sealing wax examples (see images). Later brown leather, ruled in gilt, spine lettered in gilt, slipcase.
A wide-ranging survey of ‘diestamping’, attractively presented and with the term quite loosely interpreted.
