An original drawing of “Isaak [sic.] Waltons House”, 120 Chancery Lane, London. [London: undated but paper watermarked ‘1828’]. Pen, ink and wash on laid paper (6 ¾ x 5 1/4in; 172 x 133mm). Unframed.
A charming work: a view of the house that the author of the ‘Compleat Angler’ occupied from 1627 to 1644. It was demolished in the middle of the 19thcentury.
