[ISLAMIC, possibly Persian, School]. [APPLES: a single antique leaf with text a small bodycolor painting]. [No date but probably 19th-century or earlier]. 1 leaf, octavo (10 ½ x 6 7/8; 267 x 175mm). Slanted text in red and black, recto and verso, within red-ruled border. One side with rectangular inset ‘miniature’ original painting of a gathering of apples and leaves, bodycolor, bordered in gilt (4 ¾ x 2 3/8in; 121 x 60mm). Condition: worm damage (see images).
