[ISLAMIC, possibly Persian, School]. [APPLES: a single antique leaf with text three small bodycolor paintings]. [No date but probably 19th-century or earlier]. 1 leaf, octavo (9 ½ x 6 1/8; 241 x 156mm) . Text in black, recto but mostly verso, within black and gilt-ruled borders. One side with three rectangular inset ‘miniature’ original paintings on burnished grounds, within decorative gilt borders, all of apples (3 ¼ x 2 1/8in; 83 x 54mm., and smaller). Condition: browned and some worm damage (see images).
