[i-iv]v-vii pp 1-275 incl. index. 8 pp black-and-white photographs. Frontispiece of Barnato, also pictures of Rhodes, Kimberley scenes, mining scenes, Beit, Bultfontein mine and De Beers mine (1890), Johannesburg (1890) and Paul Kruger. Completely rebound in neat blue skivotex with new endpapers, gilt titles on front and spine. Original book from half title to index at the end in Very Good condition, pages clean, but foxing has occurred to those pages adjacent to the photographs.
