Grey-green cloth-boards, gilt lettered, with colour illustration pasted to the upper board (enlarged in one of the images), plain endpapers, 485 pp of text, "richly illustrated with over 100 portraits and half-tone engravings made from drawings of the best artists"

  • This 120-year-old copy has tight and square binding, with the boards lightly edge-rubbed, and contents that are complete, unmarked and undiscoloured
