This is a copy of the original newspaper - 4 pp salmon advertising wrappers + 2 pp of letterpress blocks and captions ("The Boer Prisoners at St Helena" and "Stamping out the Rebellion in Aliwal North") + 32 pp of newsprint, with extensive coverage of the Anglo-Boer War, including several stories on the theme "Mafeking Relieved". The wrappers and the letterpress sheet are detached at the spine from the main newsprint paper, which remains stapled and is hardly faded and in better than good condition.
