[China: c. 1928]. 57 good quality 'snap-shoot' photographs (4 1/8 x 3 1/8in;102 x 79mm. and smaller) on 13 green thin card mounts, extensive captioning to mounts (mentioning locations and some of the indiviuals pictures). (Some light fading to mounts).

An interesting group - apparently assembled by a single hand: a German-speaker living in /travelling to in Shanghai, Peking and elsewhere in the late 1920s. The images are a mixture of social, 'tourist' views and images of 'modern' industrial aspects of China.
