Red cloth spine with gilt lettering and tan boards with black lettering, front and back. Fading of the spine and discolouration of the boards. Dented back board. Some repair work had been done to page 174, minor discolouration to pages. Ink inscription on front end paper by previous owner.
This book was the second book by N Hofmeyr, his previous book was a look at the history of South Africa. This book is written in high Dutch and is not only the story the Jameson raid but includes South African history as it relates to the Anglo Boer War.
