A collection of memorable deeds and sayings compiled in the first century after Christ; the work was again very popular in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. This edition of Sebastiano Corrado (d. 1556), a pupil of Battista Egnazio, is first recorded printed in 1545. A rare printing, not in Adams.
