Unsurprisingly, Johannes Meintjes, Molteno's own prolific author, in English and Afrikaans, and painter, was chosen to write the history of this Stormberg town on the occasion of its centenary. Blue cloth-boards with the Molteno coat of arms gilt-embossed on the upper panel and gilt titling to the spine. Plain endpapers. xii + 173 pp of text, bibliography and index + frontispiece and a 24 pp inserted heavy art-paper section of monochrome photographs.
There are some white rubbing spots on the covers and corners (see images) but the contents are unmarked and undiscoloured.
