How it works

Register

Blunt was an elephant control officer in Tanganyika, hunting primarily in the Linda Province. He details the natural history and biology of the elephant, relates his experiences as a cultivation officer and provides an excellent chapter on past and present elephant hunters. "I am sure that an elephant looks on human beings in the same way as we look on a dangerous insect." A classic of African elephant hunting. Original gray cloth with bright white spine titles and bright white elephant vignette on upper board. Cloth very lightly soiled. Original endpapers firm and tight. Well illustrated with photo plates. Square corners.
