Since the publisher changed, this is technically a second edition. Copy number 2443 of the English edition, limited to 4,000 copies. Original dust jacket. Original dark green simulated leather boards with gilt titling on the spine. Dark green end papers. xv prelims, 401 pages followed by the index, etc., which takes up the pagination from the prelims to page xxxii, 100 colour plates by Auriol Batten. CONDITION DETAILS: There are some signs of use, such as a closed tear on the lower side of the dust jacket which has been repaired with tape and a crease of 2mm on the top of the spine. Overall, internally fresh and clean.
