Written by its founding commander, Col. JD Breytenbach, this book describes the creation of 32 Battalion. This unit was a truly elite and extraordinary unit, being formed from former FNLA guerrillas from Angola, integrated with South African Officers. It became acknowledged as the best fighting unit in the South African Defence Force since World War II. It was also the first unit to receive its colours in an operational area.
