This lot comprises the following 4 titles, all first or first UK editions, published by the Collins Crime Club:
1. E.C.R. Lorac. Murder of A Martinet. 1951.
2. Elizabeth Ferrars. Alibi For a Witch. 1952.
3. J. Jefferson Farjeon. The Double Crime. 1953.
4. Andrew Garve. Death and The Sky Above. 1953.
All four books are in fine to near condition with bright red/orange cloth and internally unmarked and unfoxed. A couple of the volumes have faint light red remainder marks on the lower edges. The striking fifties dustwrappers and all essentially complete, bright and unchipped, although the fourth title has slight loss at the extremes of the spine. They all have light shelf edge wear and some age soiling, mainly of the rear panels. There is no price on the front flap of any of these books suggesting that the dustwrappers may be Colonial issues - but are otherwise I am sure identical to the UK editions.
A very attractive lot.
