Pearse, the 'Daily News' special correspondent. 8vo; original khaki cloth lettered in red on spine and upper cover; pp. xiv + 244; tissue-guarded frontis. and several photographic plates; plans; maps, incl. one large folding. Cloth worn at extremities; spine darkened; upper hinge just starting; "Presentation Copy" blind-stamp to title page; endpapers somewhat foxed, occasional fox spot elsewhere. Good.
