[attributed to Joseph L. SASSO, jr. (photographer)]. – Frank SINATRA, jnr.

A vintage ‘snapshot’ photograph, a candid shot taken during a break in the filming of Frank Sinatra, singing ‘The Brooklyn Bridge’, on the 13 July 1946, from ‘It Happened in Brooklyn’, on the Brooklyn Bridge, 3 ¾ x 2 ¾ inches, on plan backed paper but with pencilled inscription ‘ 7/13/46 / B’klyn Bridge’; [with:] a larger later print from the same negative [printed later probably in the 1970s or 1980s], on paper with “This Paper/ Manufactured / by Kodak” on the verso.

[with:]

A small collection of ten photographs, further candid shots taken during the filming of Frank Sinatra, singing ‘The Brooklyn Bridge’, on the 13 July 1946, all 8 x 10 inches [all printed later probably in the 1970s or 1980s], all on paper with “This Paper/ Manufactured / by Kodak” on the verso. Provenance: probably the Sasso family (purchased with a group of ephemera, including photos. Some with inscriptions to the verso – one identifying Joseph Sasso as the photographer).

All in excellent condition, all apparently unpublished.
