Cameron delivered an address relating his African experiences to the Executives Club of Chicago in March, 1929, then apparently had these booklets printed for distribution to friends and business allies. While there are observations of the native peoples and the wildlife, there are also incidents of hunting lion, buffalo and a variety of antelope species. The text photographs are taken from movies he shot on the trip. Original green paper-covered boards with gilt titles and gilt stylized river vignette on upper board, backed in pebbled green cloth with gilt titles. Original endpapers firm and tight. Private library bookplate on front pastedown with perforated stamp on title page. SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR.
