The 50 copies were printed for H.F. Oppenheimer for his own distribution. An extensive collection of the artist's work from around 1938 to the 1980s. Artist, now deceased, lived in exile in France for more than 40 years. 21pp autobiographical outline contributed by the painter.
Bookseller's pencil annotations to ffep else a Fine copy in VG+ slipcase (the buckram is showing minor tanning, the marbled paper fading, but clean & sound with no bumps). Overall an exceptional copy.
