An unblemished copy of this scarce monograph of the artist whose influences included Pieter Wenning, Edward Roworth and Gwelo Goodman, Kottler, etc... and other contemporaries were Hugo Naude, Caldecott, Amschewitz, Spilhaus and Maggie Laubser, Van Wouw, etc... but Percival Small was probably the most influential in encouraging the impressionist style of of Boonzaier\'s work. The book contains 8 full colour plates, and around a hundred b/w reproductions of his work. The book is in near fine condition, pale green linen cloth boards with a reproduction of the artist\'s signature on lower front cover; pages slightly yellowed with age, no bumps, page edges very clean, and neat printed stamp on lower right of title page, which reads \"EX LIBRIS George Hofmeyr (1945-2009) (Former Director of the National Monuments Council of South Africa) - \'People die but books never die\' (Franklin D.Roosevelt 1942)\'\"
Dust-jacket is showing moderate rubbing and minor marking, with a one inch closed tear at head of spine, and slight spine creasing. Protected by a Brodart plastic sleeve.
