Small oblong 12mo (4 3/4 x 7 1/2 inches; 121 x 190mm). pp. [i-viii; 1-]4-100[-104]. Printed in brown throughout, decorative title page, 1 plate. Original 'creped' paper wrappers, printed in brown on both covers (damage to paper surface of the upper cover).

An attractive and rare cook-book with recipes from local people, probably intended as a fund-raiser for the " Young People's Village Improvement Association of Hillsdale, N.Y.". Printed using the press of the local newspaper, the Hillsdale Harbinger. The compilation includes over 265 recipes under 13 different headings. Not found in OCLC.
