94 pages, colour frontispiece, 3 maps, 2 plans, 1 colour and numerous black & white plates and illustrations, handsomely bound in full purple calf with gilt decoration on both covers and the spine, red and green title labels, inner gilt dentelles and marbled endpapers, spine slightly faded, all edges gilt, hint of foxing on the preliminary pages, a very good copy.
