Authors own copies with his bookplate to Volume 1 and the following inscription ffep: "Private copy for information and additions". The neat correctional and informational annotations throughout the three volumes are in the same hand, and appeared in a later printing. There are tipped-in new handwritten paragraphs, tables, appendices, etc. Scarce anyway, this is a unique set. Handwriting verified.
