Esmonde relates his numerous hunting and fishing trips abroad including moose in New Brunswick, salmon and caribou in Newfoundland, bighorn sheep in the Rockies, trout in Yellowstone; elk and antelope; Irish red deer in Ireland; wolves in Romania; etc. He also includes his trips to New Zealand, Australia, and Tasmania. Well illustrated with photo plates. Deep red cloth with bright gilt spine titles and bighorn sheep vignette in black on upper board. Bumping to lower edge of upper board. Original endpapers firm and tight. Previous owner's blind stamp to upper corner of front free endpaper. In the scarce dust jacket with chipping to corners and spine ends. A very good or better copy in a good dust jacket. The first edition was published in Dublin in 1920.
