Although the spine is sunned and the boards are lightly rubbed and bumped, this copy is in very good overall condition: tight binding; endpapers sunned but no text, plate or tissue-guard foxing. A few unobtrusive pencil markings are in the text.
There is an unrecognised owner signature and the words "Victoria West 15/12/04" in ink on the front free endpaper.
